Hi, I’m Dr. Sunny and Fort Lauderdale has been my home for the past 17 years.
Between caring for patients and spending time with my family, I’ve come to realize that a healthy, happy life extends far beyond the dental chair. It’s about finding balance, discovering hidden gems, and supporting the people and places that make our community shine.
That’s why I created Dr Sunny Recommends — a space dedicated to highlighting local businesses, creative minds, and inspiring ideas that bring value, joy, and wellness to our everyday lives here in Fort Lauderdale.
From the Riverwalk’s quiet corners to the most charming neighborhood cafés, to wellness centers and boutiques run by passionate locals — this is where I share my favorite discoveries and the people behind them.
Because when we take care of ourselves, our families, and our community- we all smile a little brighter.

After nearly two decades of calling Fort Lauderdale home, I’ve built countless smiles- and meaningful relationships — in this city. Dentistry can be demanding and precise work, but what truly inspires me is connecting with people and creating trust.
I believe that same connection should extend beyond Denteast- into our neighborhoods, our wellness routines, and our local economy.
