Understanding All-On-X dental Service:

All-on-X is a treatment that replaces an entire upper or lower arch of teeth with a custom bridge supported by several dental implants. Treatment can involve one arch or both, depending on your needs.

The implants are placed in the jawbone, where they serve as anchors for your replacement teeth. Together, they support the full bridge, so each missing tooth does not require its own implant.

Your bridge stays fixed in place during daily life. You do not remove it at home, although your dental team can remove it when needed for maintenance or repairs.

All-on-4 and All-on-X: What’s the difference?

All-On-Four

All-on-4 is a specific treatment concept that supports a full arch of replacement teeth on four implants. That decision considers the quality and amount of available bone, your jaw anatomy, bite, implant positioning, and the design of your bridge.

All-On-X

All-on-X is a broader term then All-on-4. The “X” represents the number of implants selected for your treatment.
Your plan may involve four, five, six, seven, or another clinically appropriate number.

At Denteast, we plan the treatment around your mouth, with the goal of creating a stable, functional foundation for your smile.

Every smile has a different story

Tooth loss can follow an injury, advanced gum disease, extensive decay, or years of recurring dental problems. Medical conditions, certain medications, tobacco use, and difficulties accessing regular care can also contribute to oral health challenges.Whatever your circumstances, you deserve to feel comfortable asking for help.

All-on-X may be an option if you:Are missing all or most teeth in an upper or lower arch.Have several teeth that cannot be predictably restored.Struggle with loose or uncomfortable removable dentures.Want to explore a fixed alternative for full-arch tooth replacement. There is no single ideal adult age for treatment. Your overall health, oral condition, and ability to heal matter more than your age alone. Implant treatment generally takes place after jaw growth is complete.A thorough examination helps us determine whether All-on-X is appropriate for you.

Preserve what can be preserved

Your natural teeth deserve careful consideration.

At Denteast, we assess the condition and long-term outlook of your remaining teeth before recommending full-arch replacement. If teeth can be predictably preserved, we discuss those options with you.

When All-on-X is the appropriate choice, any teeth remaining in the arch being replaced must be removed. We explain why those extractions are recommended, what alternatives exist, and how the decision affects your treatment.

You should understand your options before making a decision.

DENTEAST CLEANINGS & PREVENTIVE TREATMENTS FAQ’s

All-On-X Frequently asked questions

Does All-on-X replace both upper and lower teeth?

It can replace the upper arch, lower arch, or both. Each arch is evaluated separately and has its own treatment plan.
Not automatically. We first evaluate whether your remaining teeth can be preserved. If full-arch replacement is recommended, the teeth remaining in that particular arch are removed. Teeth in the opposite arch do not need to be extracted simply because you are having All-on-X treatment.
Some patients qualify for a fixed temporary bridge on the day of surgery. Others need additional healing before a fixed bridge can be attached. Same-day temporary teeth do not mean treatment or healing is complete.
Bone loss does not automatically rule out implant treatment. Its extent and location influence your options. Some patients need bone grafting or a different surgical approach. Imaging and an examination help establish what is possible.
Treatment commonly extends over several months. Extractions, grafting, healing, and the fabrication of your final bridge can affect the timeline. We outline the anticipated stages during your consultation.
You brush daily and clean beneath the bridge using the tools and techniques recommended for its design. Professional maintenance is also necessary, even though the replacement teeth cannot develop cavities.

As with any implant surgery, risks include infection, delayed healing, implant failure, and injury to nearby structures. Bridges can also develop wear or mechanical complications. We discuss your individual risk factors and how they affect treatment planning.
Cost depends on whether you need one or both arches treated, the number of implants, extractions or grafting, bridge materials, and the complexity of your care. Following your evaluation, we provide a personalized estimate and clarify what is included.
Coverage varies by plan. Some policies may contribute toward certain parts of treatment, while others exclude implants or limit benefits. Our team can help you review your benefits before you proceed.
