Building Denteast: Preparation Before Opening

Before welcoming our first patients, we invested months into understanding what it truly takes to build a modern dental practice. From attending nationwide conferences to studying industry insights and listening to leading voices in dental business development, we approached Denteast not just as a clinic- but as a long-term, patient-centered business.

This level of preparation matters. The U.S. dental industry is evolving rapidly, with over $152 billion in annual expenditures and increasing emphasis on technology, patient experience, and aesthetics.

Our goal was simple:
To create a space that reflects where dentistry is going not where it has been.

We set out to be competitive and to position ourselves as a forward-thinking, visionary cosmetic dentistry practice in Fort Lauderdale.

We chose FAT Village at a pivotal moment—just as the area was beginning its transformation. From a location standpoint, the timing was exceptional.

However, our building the Motif was brand new, and much of it had not yet been captured by Google Maps. That created an unexpected challenge:

How do you remain visible when your most important digital ally – Google- doesn’t show you on the map?

Fortunately, we found a way.

When you’re invisible to Google, strong branding matter even more

Over the past year, we focused on what we could control. Branding. We committed ourselves to consistently sharing our philosophy of modern dental care, investing in brand awareness, and building meaningful connections within our community in Fort Lauderdale.

Through events, partnerships, and ongoing engagement, we made sure that Denteast was present, even when Google Maps wasn’t fully reflecting our location.

We understood that the platform would eventually catch up. The timing was uncertain, but our strategy was clear:
earn trust, build visibility, and stay consistent.

So when the moment came, we were ready.

We built momentum beyond the map- through real experiences, real people, and real relationships.

Now that Denteast is fully visible on Google Maps, everything becomes simpler.
It’s easier for both existing and new patients to find us, connect with us, and experience what we’ve been building all along.

And in many ways, this is just the beginning.

Why Location Matters: The Rise of FAT Village

One of the most strategic decisions we made was choosing FAT Village in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

For locals, this area tells a powerful story.

What was once a very different urban and social environment is now transforming into a hub of:

A new generation of professionals and residents

We saw that shift early.

We believed in the future of this neighborhood-and today, that vision is becoming reality, with ongoing developments expected to reshape the area even further by the end of 2026.

Despite all the progress, one unexpected challenge remained:

Google Maps did not accurately reflect our location.

Patients searching for Denteast were often seeing outdated images of the building, including businesses that no longer exist. Naturally, this created confusion- and that’s something we never want our patients to experience.

In an industry where trust and clarity are everything, even a small detail like map accuracy becomes critical.

The Update: Denteast is Now Live on Google Maps
