Dental Crowns Near Plantation Florida
Crowns, Onlays and Full-Coverage Restorations for Plantation

Planning crown appointments ahead helps keep the 15 to 20 minutes drive from Plantation practical. Denteast typically completes dental crowns over two appointments, but the decision to recommend a crown comes first. A large older filling or a cracked tooth needs assessment before that treatment sequence is arranged.
Extensive decay, a fracture, heavy wear, or weakened tooth structure may also bring a crown into consideration. These findings provide reasons to evaluate the tooth carefully. They do not mean every tooth with an older filling or visible damage needs an identical restoration.
Before recommending a crown, Denteast checks whether a smaller, more conservative restoration could meet the tooth’s needs. Sometimes a limited approach may be appropriate; in other situations, a crown is the recommendation. The distinction should be understood before committing to the proposed care.
For someone traveling from Plantation, the practical plan therefore begins with knowing why the crown is being considered. You can discuss whether a smaller option has been assessed and how the findings support the recommendation. Once that decision is clear, the two appointments can be scheduled around the selected treatment, giving each return trip a defined purpose rather than arranging visits before the restorative choice is established.

What Is Biomimetic Dentistry?
At Denteast, we believe that the best dentistry often means preserving what nature has already created. That’s the foundation of biomimetic dentistry—a modern, science-based approach that focuses on conserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible while restoring strength, function, and aesthetics.
The word biomimetic means “to imitate nature.” Rather than removing large portions of a tooth to fit a restoration, biomimetic dentistry aims to repair damaged teeth in a way that closely replicates their original structure, flexibility, and performance. Every tooth is unique, and our goal is to help it function as naturally as possible for years to come.
This approach shapes every treatment we provide, from a single filling to a full restoration. Read how biomimetic dentistry works and why it matters for your teeth.

Dental Services for Plantation Residents

At Denteast in Fort Lauderdale, dental crowns are designed to do more than repair a tooth—they help restore its strength, function, shape, and natural appearance. Our focus is to reclaim function and aesthetics through our tailor-made, durable dental restorations.
A dental crown is a custom-made protective restoration that covers a damaged or weakened tooth. Crowns may be recommended when a tooth has significant decay, a fracture, a large existing restoration, or needs additional protection and support. At Denteast, each crown is carefully planned to complement your natural teeth and create a seamless, balanced result.
Depending on your individual needs, materials may include all-porcelain, ceramic, zirconia, or other restorative options, selected with durability, aesthetics, and function in mind.
Our approach combines modern dental technology with meticulous, personalized care. The goal is not simply to cover a damaged tooth, but to create a restoration that looks natural, feels comfortable, and supports your long-term oral health.
If you have a cracked, weakened, worn, or heavily restored tooth, schedule a consultation to learn whether a dental crown may be the right solution for you. Restore your smile with our expert crown and bridge solutions.

How Far Is Denteast from Plantation?
Denteast is in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Most patients from Plantation reach us in 15–20 minutes, via Broward Boulevard, I-595, and US-1.
These are the Plantation neighborhoods our patients most often come from:
- Plantation Acres
- Jacaranda
- Central Park
- Midtown Plantation
- Lago Mar
- Broward Mall area
About Plantation
Its population grows significantly during the winter months as seasonal residents—including many Canadians—come to South Florida for warmer weather. With four local parks and easy access to beaches, shopping, recreation, and entertainment, Pembroke Park offers plenty within a short drive.
Plantation grew up around its trees. The city planted them by the thousand from the 1950s onward and never really stopped, which is why a drive down Cleary Boulevard or through Plantation Acres still feels like moving through a canopy rather than a suburb. It is one of Broward County’s established residential cities, built around large lots, quiet streets and a strong set of public schools. Plantation Heritage Park and the Jacaranda golf courses anchor the western side; Plantation Midtown and Westfield Broward Mall pull traffic toward the eastern edge, where the city meets University Drive. A large share of residents work in Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise or Davie, and the run east along Broward Boulevard or I-595 is part of the daily rhythm here. That commute is what puts Denteast within easy reach for appointments before or after work.
Questions from Plantation patients
Is Denteast located in Plantation?

Denteast is located in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, not in Plantation itself, and patients from Plantation drive over regularly. The practice sits at 540 N Andrews Ave, Suite 101, with garage parking in the building. Call us and we will tell you the quickest way in from your side of town.
Is parking available?

Yes. Free garage parking in the Motif Building, plus street parking on Andrews Ave.
Does Denteast accept dental insurance?

Denteast accepts most PPO dental plans. Our front desk checks your specific plan before treatment and explains what it covers, so there are no surprises when the bill arrives. Call us and we will look your plan up while you are on the phone.
What if I do not have dental insurance?

Denteast offers financing through Cherry, CareCredit and LendingClub, so treatment can be spread over monthly payments. Many of our patients have no dental insurance at all. Call us and we will walk you through the options before you commit to anything.
Do you see patients on Saturdays?

Denteast sees patients on Saturdays by appointment only. There are no walk-in Saturday hours, so the day is reserved for people who booked ahead. Call during the week to hold a Saturday slot.
Can I be seen the same day in an emergency?

Same-day emergency appointments are usually possible, depending on the schedule that day. A cracked tooth, sudden pain, a lost crown or swelling all count as emergencies. Call us as early in the day as you can and we will find you a slot.
Do I definitely need a crown, or would an onlay do?

An onlay restores only the damaged cusps and preserves the rest of the tooth, and in many cases it is the better choice. A full crown is warranted when too little sound structure remains to support anything less. We will show you the X-ray and explain which applies. Call us for a second opinion.
How long does a crown take to make?

A crown is designed from a digital scan and made in a dental laboratory, so the process usually runs across two appointments with a temporary in between. Rushing that stage is where fit and colour go wrong. Call us and we will schedule both visits together.
