Tooth Extractions Near Hollywood Florida
Extractions and Wisdom Tooth Assessment for Hollywood

The drive of 20 to 25 minutes from Hollywood may make sense for extraction care when the appointment and recovery expectations are clearly explained. At Denteast, removal can often be completed in one appointment when needed. Understanding what that visit involves helps you consider the trip alongside the care proposed for you.
We see one patient at a time, with time available for questions. Before the procedure, we explain the planned care, comfort, and recovery. You can raise the concerns that matter to you and ask for clarification before proceeding, rather than try to work out the details after the appointment has begun.
Clear aftercare instructions are provided, and the team remains available for questions during recovery. For someone returning to Highland Gardens, that support is part of planning beyond the office visit. You should understand the instructions before leaving and know that questions arising afterward can still be raised. The usual possibility of completing removal in one appointment provides a starting point for scheduling, while the explanation of the procedure and recovery gives the trip its practical context. You can arrange attendance with an understanding of both the visit and the care afterward.

What Is Biomimetic Dentistry?
At Denteast, we believe that the best dentistry often means preserving what nature has already created. That’s the foundation of biomimetic dentistry—a modern, science-based approach that focuses on conserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible while restoring strength, function, and aesthetics.
The word biomimetic means “to imitate nature.” Rather than removing large portions of a tooth to fit a restoration, biomimetic dentistry aims to repair damaged teeth in a way that closely replicates their original structure, flexibility, and performance. Every tooth is unique, and our goal is to help it function as naturally as possible for years to come.
This approach shapes every treatment we provide, from a single filling to a full restoration. Read how biomimetic dentistry works and why it matters for your teeth.

Dental Services for Hollywood Residents

Sometimes, preserving your oral health means knowing when it’s time to let go of a tooth.
At Denteast, we provide dental extractions in Fort Lauderdale with a gentle, patient-centered approach focused on comfort, clear communication, and long-term oral health. A tooth extraction may be recommended when a tooth is severely damaged, decayed, infected, fractured, or cannot be predictably restored.
Before recommending an extraction, we carefully evaluate the tooth and discuss your options. Following our biomimetic approach to dentistry, our priority is to preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as reasonably possible. When saving the tooth is no longer the appropriate option, we explain why an extraction may be recommended, what to expect during the procedure, and what options may be available afterward.
Our boutique, one-patient-at-a-time approach means your appointment isn’t about rushing through a procedure. It’s about making sure you understand your care and feel comfortable throughout the experience.
When appropriate, we can also discuss options for replacing a missing tooth, including dental implants, bridges, and dentures, based on your individual needs. That is why we encourage patients from Hollywood to check their teeth regularly and visit the dentist once every 6 months.

About Hollywood
Hollywood is a vibrant coastal city known for its historic downtown, arts and entertainment district, residential neighborhoods, and the beachfront Hollywood Broadwalk.
Residents regularly travel between Hollywood, Dania Beach, and Fort Lauderdale, making Denteast a convenient choice for dental care in Downtown Fort Lauderdale
Hollywood runs from the Intracoastal to the western edge of Broward County, and the two ends feel like different cities. On the coast there is the Broadwalk, a two-and-a-half mile promenade along the beach that has been there since the 1920s, plus the Hollywood Lakes neighbourhood and its canals. Inland, Emerald Hills and Hollywood Hills are established residential areas built around golf courses and mature landscaping. Downtown Hollywood, around Harrison Street and Hollywood Boulevard, has become the city’s arts and restaurant district. It is Broward County’s third-largest city and one of its oldest, laid out by Joseph Young in the 1920s around a series of circles that still shape the street grid. I-95, US-1 and Federal Highway all run north-south through the city, putting Downtown Fort Lauderdale within a short drive.
Hear It From Our Patients
Questions from Hollywood patients
Is Denteast located in Hollywood?

Denteast is located in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, not in Hollywood itself, and patients from Hollywood drive over regularly. The practice sits at 540 N Andrews Ave, Suite 101, with garage parking in the building. Call us and we will tell you the quickest way in from your side of town.
Is parking available?

Garage parking is available at the building and the first hour is free with our validation code. Street parking on the surrounding blocks is another option. Ask for the code at the front desk when you arrive.
Does Denteast accept dental insurance?

Denteast accepts most PPO dental plans. Our front desk checks your specific plan before treatment and explains what it covers, so there are no surprises when the bill arrives. Call us and we will look your plan up while you are on the phone.
What if I do not have dental insurance?

Denteast offers financing through Cherry, CareCredit and LendingClub, so treatment can be spread over monthly payments. Many of our patients have no dental insurance at all. Call us and we will walk you through the options before you commit to anything.
Do you see patients on Saturdays?

Denteast is closed on Saturdays. In some cases, for example to continue a treatment that started on Friday, the team can arrange a Saturday visit by appointment. Call the office Monday to Friday to book.
Can I be seen the same day in an emergency?

Same-day emergency appointments are usually possible, depending on the schedule that day. A cracked tooth, sudden pain, a lost crown or swelling all count as emergencies. Call us as early in the day as you can and we will find you a slot.
Can the tooth be saved instead of extracted?

Many teeth that look beyond help can be restored with root canal treatment and a bonded restoration, and we always assess that first. When extraction genuinely is the right decision, we say so clearly and explain why. Call us for an assessment before you agree to lose a tooth.
Do wisdom teeth always have to come out?

Wisdom teeth that are fully erupted, cleanable and not causing problems can often stay. Removal is recommended when they are impacted, decayed or damaging the tooth in front. 3D imaging shows the root position relative to the nerve before any decision. Call us for an evaluation.
How long does it take to reach Denteast from Hollywood?

Denteast is in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, roughly a straight run north on I-95, US-1 or Federal Highway from most of Hollywood. Garage parking is in the building, first hour free with our code. Call us and we will give you the code and directions.
I already have a dentist. Can I come just for a second opinion?

Second opinions are a large part of what we do, particularly on treatment plans involving multiple crowns. We will look at your X-rays, explain what we see and tell you if we would do the same thing. There is no obligation beyond that. Call us to arrange it.
