Tooth Extractions Near Pompano Beach Florida
Extractions and Wisdom Tooth Assessment for Pompano Beach

After an extraction assessment, someone from Pompano Beach should understand whether the tooth can be restored and why removal may be recommended. Denteast is a drive of 20 to 25 minutes. Natural teeth are retained whenever possible, so that question is considered before committing to an extraction.
Severe damage, decay, infection, or a fracture may make removal appropriate. The central issue is whether the tooth can be predictably restored. A damaged tooth is therefore examined before its condition is treated as an automatic reason for removal.
The recommendation should connect the assessment to that decision. Understanding why restoration is or is not possible helps you consider the proposed care with a clinical explanation, rather than deciding only from the presence of damage or the suggestion of an extraction.
Replacement options, including an implant, bridge, or denture, are also discussed. You do not need to choose a replacement on the day. For someone returning to Pompano Beach, this leaves room to understand the immediate recommendation and consider the next stage separately. The first useful outcome is clarity about the tooth itself, followed by an explanation of the available replacement choices without requiring every decision to be made at once.

What Is Biomimetic Dentistry?
At Denteast, we believe that the best dentistry often means preserving what nature has already created. That’s the foundation of biomimetic dentistry—a modern, science-based approach that focuses on conserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible while restoring strength, function, and aesthetics.
The word biomimetic means “to imitate nature.” Rather than removing large portions of a tooth to fit a restoration, biomimetic dentistry aims to repair damaged teeth in a way that closely replicates their original structure, flexibility, and performance. Every tooth is unique, and our goal is to help it function as naturally as possible for years to come.
This approach shapes every treatment we provide, from a single filling to a full restoration. Read how biomimetic dentistry works and why it matters for your teeth.

Dental Services for Pompano Beach Residents

Sometimes, preserving your oral health means knowing when it’s time to let go of a tooth.
At Denteast, we provide dental extractions in Fort Lauderdale with a gentle, patient-centered approach focused on comfort, clear communication, and long-term oral health. A tooth extraction may be recommended when a tooth is severely damaged, decayed, infected, fractured, or cannot be predictably restored.
Before recommending an extraction, we carefully evaluate the tooth and discuss your options. Following our biomimetic approach to dentistry, our priority is to preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as reasonably possible. When saving the tooth is no longer the appropriate option, we explain why an extraction may be recommended, what to expect during the procedure, and what options may be available afterward.
Our boutique, one-patient-at-a-time approach means your appointment isn’t about rushing through a procedure. It’s about making sure you understand your care and feel comfortable throughout the experience.
When appropriate, we can also discuss options for replacing a missing tooth, including dental implants, bridges, and dentures, based on your individual needs. That is why we encourage patients from Pompano Beach to check their teeth regularly and visit the dentist once every 6 months.

About Pompano Beach
Pompano Beach is a coastal Broward County community known for its beaches, waterfront lifestyle, parks, boating, fishing, and growing dining and entertainment scene.
Pompano Beach residents traveling south for work or appointments can conveniently reach Downtown Fort Lauderdale and Denteast in less than 25 minutes via US-1, Dixie Highway, or I-95.
Pompano Beach has spent the last decade rebuilding its waterfront. The pier was replaced, the beach area around it redeveloped, and a stretch of coastline that had been quiet for years now draws people from across northern Broward County. Behind it the city is largely residential: Cypress Harbor and Harbor Village on the water, Palm Aire around its golf courses to the west, and Old Pompano near the original downtown. The city also holds one of the region’s larger fishing fleets and the Hillsboro Inlet just to the north. I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike both cross the western side, while US-1 and North Andrews Avenue carry local traffic south toward Oakland Park and Fort Lauderdale. It is roughly fifteen miles from the Denteast office, most of it highway.

Questions from Pompano Beach patients
Is Denteast located in Pompano Beach?

Denteast is located in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, not in Pompano Beach itself, and patients from Pompano Beach drive over regularly. The practice sits at 540 N Andrews Ave, Suite 101, with garage parking in the building. Call us and we will tell you the quickest way in from your side of town.
Is parking available?

Garage parking is available at the building and the first hour is free with our validation code. Street parking on the surrounding blocks is another option. Ask for the code at the front desk when you arrive.
Does Denteast accept dental insurance?

Denteast accepts most PPO dental plans. Our front desk checks your specific plan before treatment and explains what it covers, so there are no surprises when the bill arrives. Call us and we will look your plan up while you are on the phone.
What if I do not have dental insurance?

Denteast offers financing through Cherry, CareCredit and LendingClub, so treatment can be spread over monthly payments. Many of our patients have no dental insurance at all. Call us and we will walk you through the options before you commit to anything.
Do you see patients on Saturdays?

Denteast is closed on Saturdays. In some cases, for example to continue a treatment that started on Friday, the team can arrange a Saturday visit by appointment. Call the office Monday to Friday to book.
Can I be seen the same day in an emergency?

Same-day emergency appointments are usually possible, depending on the schedule that day. A cracked tooth, sudden pain, a lost crown or swelling all count as emergencies. Call us as early in the day as you can and we will find you a slot.
Can the tooth be saved instead of extracted?

Many teeth that look beyond help can be restored with root canal treatment and a bonded restoration, and we always assess that first. When extraction genuinely is the right decision, we say so clearly and explain why. Call us for an assessment before you agree to lose a tooth.
Do wisdom teeth always have to come out?

Wisdom teeth that are fully erupted, cleanable and not causing problems can often stay. Removal is recommended when they are impacted, decayed or damaging the tooth in front. 3D imaging shows the root position relative to the nerve before any decision. Call us for an evaluation.
How far is Denteast from Pompano Beach?

Denteast is in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, about fifteen miles south of Pompano Beach on I-95, or a slower run down US-1 and North Andrews Avenue. Many Pompano patients book around their commute. Call us and we will find a slot that fits.
Do you offer early appointments?

Denteast opens at 9:00 AM, and the first slots of the morning are the ones patients driving down from Pompano Beach usually take. Tuesdays run later, until 6:30 PM, for anyone who prefers the end of the day. Call us to book either.
