Treatment of TMJ Near Pompano Beach Florida
TMJ Dentist Serving Residents of Pompano Beach

Planning TMJ appointments in advance helps keep the 20 to 25 minutes drive from Pompano Beach practical. When a custom night guard is recommended, care includes an assessment followed by a fitting appointment. Denteast explains follow-up visits beforehand so the proposed sequence can be considered before you proceed.
The assessment looks at your teeth, bite, jaw movement, and when symptoms occur. Your description of timing contributes to understanding the pattern. These details are considered together rather than assuming that every jaw concern has the same cause.
A custom night guard is often recommended to protect teeth from grinding and help manage symptoms. Its role needs to be understood within your own plan. The assessment establishes whether it is appropriate, and the fitting appointment follows when that option is selected.
The treatment plan depends on the likely cause. For someone coming from Pompano Beach, the first visit therefore provides more than a decision about a guard: it gives the recommendation a basis in the findings. You can review why the option has been proposed and how the appointments fit together. Knowing about the assessment, fitting, and any follow-up helps organize the return trips around the care actually recommended for you.

What Is Biomimetic Dentistry?
At Denteast, we believe that the best dentistry often means preserving what nature has already created. That’s the foundation of biomimetic dentistry—a modern, science-based approach that focuses on conserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible while restoring strength, function, and aesthetics.
The word biomimetic means “to imitate nature.” Rather than removing large portions of a tooth to fit a restoration, biomimetic dentistry aims to repair damaged teeth in a way that closely replicates their original structure, flexibility, and performance. Every tooth is unique, and our goal is to help it function as naturally as possible for years to come.
This approach shapes every treatment we provide, from a single filling to a full restoration. Read how biomimetic dentistry works and why it matters for your teeth.

Dental Services for Pompano Beach Residents

Jaw pain, tension, headaches, or persistent teeth grinding can affect more than your smile—they can interfere with sleep, eating, speaking, and everyday comfort. At Denteast in Fort Lauderdale, we take a personalized approach to evaluating and managing TMJ-related concerns.
The temporomandibular joints (TMJ) connect your lower jaw to your skull and play an essential role in everyday jaw movement. When these joints or surrounding muscles become strained, symptoms may include jaw pain or tenderness, clicking or popping, headaches, facial discomfort, difficulty opening or closing the mouth, and teeth grinding or clenching.
Treatment begins with an evaluation of your teeth, bite, jaw movement, symptoms, and individual needs. Depending on the findings, Denteast may recommend a custom-made night guard to help protect your teeth from the effects of grinding and clenching while reducing stress on the jaw. TMJ Treatment & Night Guards at Denteast
For selected patients, additional treatment options may be considered based on the source and severity of their symptoms.
At Denteast, our goal is not simply to manage discomfort, but to understand what may be contributing to it and develop a thoughtful treatment plan around you. For patients from Pompano Beach, regular dental visits, often around every six months, can help maintain healthy teeth and gums and identify potential concerns before they become more serious.

About Pompano Beach
Pompano Beach is a coastal Broward County community known for its beaches, waterfront lifestyle, parks, boating, fishing, and growing dining and entertainment scene.
Pompano Beach residents traveling south for work or appointments can conveniently reach Downtown Fort Lauderdale and Denteast in less than 25 minutes via US-1, Dixie Highway, or I-95.
Pompano Beach has spent the last decade rebuilding its waterfront. The pier was replaced, the beach area around it redeveloped, and a stretch of coastline that had been quiet for years now draws people from across northern Broward County. Behind it the city is largely residential: Cypress Harbor and Harbor Village on the water, Palm Aire around its golf courses to the west, and Old Pompano near the original downtown. The city also holds one of the region’s larger fishing fleets and the Hillsboro Inlet just to the north. I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike both cross the western side, while US-1 and North Andrews Avenue carry local traffic south toward Oakland Park and Fort Lauderdale. It is roughly fifteen miles from the Denteast office, most of it highway.

Questions from Pompano Beach patients
Is Denteast located in Pompano Beach?

Denteast is located in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, not in Pompano Beach itself, and patients from Pompano Beach drive over regularly. The practice sits at 540 N Andrews Ave, Suite 101, with garage parking in the building. Call us and we will tell you the quickest way in from your side of town.
Is parking available?

Garage parking is available at the building and the first hour is free with our validation code. Street parking on the surrounding blocks is another option. Ask for the code at the front desk when you arrive.
Does Denteast accept dental insurance?

Denteast accepts most PPO dental plans. Our front desk checks your specific plan before treatment and explains what it covers, so there are no surprises when the bill arrives. Call us and we will look your plan up while you are on the phone.
What if I do not have dental insurance?

Denteast offers financing through Cherry, CareCredit and LendingClub, so treatment can be spread over monthly payments. Many of our patients have no dental insurance at all. Call us and we will walk you through the options before you commit to anything.
Do you see patients on Saturdays?

Denteast is closed on Saturdays. In some cases, for example to continue a treatment that started on Friday, the team can arrange a Saturday visit by appointment. Call the office Monday to Friday to book.
Can I be seen the same day in an emergency?

Same-day emergency appointments are usually possible, depending on the schedule that day. A cracked tooth, sudden pain, a lost crown or swelling all count as emergencies. Call us as early in the day as you can and we will find you a slot.
