Treatment of TMJ Near Victoria Park Florida
TMJ Dentist Serving Residents of Victoria Park

Jaw pain, headaches on waking, a click when you open, teeth you know you are grinding at night. These are the things Victoria Park patients bring us, and the short distance matters because managing TMJ is a process rather than a single fix.
The temporomandibular joints connect your lower jaw to your skull and work constantly. Strained joints or muscles show up as jaw tenderness, clicking or popping, headaches, facial discomfort, difficulty opening fully, and grinding or clenching.
The evaluation covers your teeth, your bite, how the jaw moves and what you are actually experiencing. A custom night guard is often the recommendation: it protects the teeth from grinding and reduces load on the joint. That means an assessment and a fitting, then adjustment if it is not sitting right, which is where being nearby helps.
For selected patients Botox into the overactive muscles is considered alongside it. What we are trying to establish is what is driving the symptoms, not simply to quieten them, because a night guard fitted without that question answered tends to move the problem rather than solve it.

What Is Biomimetic Dentistry?
At Denteast, we believe that the best dentistry often means preserving what nature has already created. That’s the foundation of biomimetic dentistry—a modern, science-based approach that focuses on conserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible while restoring strength, function, and aesthetics.
The word biomimetic means “to imitate nature.” Rather than removing large portions of a tooth to fit a restoration, biomimetic dentistry aims to repair damaged teeth in a way that closely replicates their original structure, flexibility, and performance. Every tooth is unique, and our goal is to help it function as naturally as possible for years to come.
This approach shapes every treatment we provide, from a single filling to a full restoration. Read how biomimetic dentistry works and why it matters for your teeth.

Dental Services for Victoria Park Residents

Jaw pain, tension, headaches, or persistent teeth grinding can affect more than your smile—they can interfere with sleep, eating, speaking, and everyday comfort. At Denteast in Fort Lauderdale, we take a personalized approach to evaluating and managing TMJ-related concerns.
The temporomandibular joints (TMJ) connect your lower jaw to your skull and play an essential role in everyday jaw movement. When these joints or surrounding muscles become strained, symptoms may include jaw pain or tenderness, clicking or popping, headaches, facial discomfort, difficulty opening or closing the mouth, and teeth grinding or clenching.
Treatment begins with an evaluation of your teeth, bite, jaw movement, symptoms, and individual needs. Depending on the findings, Denteast may recommend a custom-made night guard to help protect your teeth from the effects of grinding and clenching while reducing stress on the jaw. For selected patients, additional treatment options may be considered based on the source and severity of their symptoms.
At Denteast, our goal is not simply to manage discomfort, but to understand what may be contributing to it and develop a thoughtful treatment plan around you. For patients from Victoria Park, regular dental visits, often around every six months, can help maintain healthy teeth and gums and identify potential concerns before they become more serious.

About Victoria Park
Victoria Park is a well-established neighborhood in northeast Fort Lauderdale, recognized for its tree-lined streets, mix of historic and modern homes, and close proximity to Downtown, Las Olas, and the beach.
Because Victoria Park is only minutes from Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Denteast offers residents a nearby option for boutique dental care before work, after errands, or as part of their regular routine
Victoria Park is the residential neighbourhood immediately northeast of Downtown Fort Lauderdale, and it is one of the oldest in the city. The streets are narrow and heavily shaded, the housing stock ranges from 1920s bungalows to contemporary infill, and almost none of it is more than two storeys — a deliberate contrast to the towers a few blocks west. Holiday Park sits on its eastern edge, with the tennis centre, the aquatic complex and the War Memorial Auditorium. The neighbourhood association has been active for decades in keeping the tree canopy and the scale intact. Sunrise Boulevard forms the northern boundary, Federal Highway the eastern, and Broward Boulevard the southern, which puts the entire downtown core within a few minutes in any direction.

Questions from Victoria Park patients
Is Denteast located in Victoria Park?

Denteast is located in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, not in Victoria Park itself, and patients from Victoria Park drive over regularly. The practice sits at 540 N Andrews Ave, Suite 101, with garage parking in the building. Call us and we will tell you the quickest way in from your side of town.

Garage parking is available at the building and the first hour is free with our validation code. Street parking on the surrounding blocks is another option. Ask for the code at the front desk when you arrive.
Does Denteast accept dental insurance?

Denteast accepts most PPO dental plans. Our front desk checks your specific plan before treatment and explains what it covers, so there are no surprises when the bill arrives. Call us and we will look your plan up while you are on the phone.
What if I do not have dental insurance?

Denteast offers financing through Cherry, CareCredit and LendingClub, so treatment can be spread over monthly payments. Many of our patients have no dental insurance at all. Call us and we will walk you through the options before you commit to anything.
Do you see patients on Saturdays?

Denteast is closed on Saturdays. In some cases, for example to continue a treatment that started on Friday, the team can arrange a Saturday visit by appointment. Call the office Monday to Friday to book.
Can I be seen the same day in an emergency?

Same-day emergency appointments are usually possible, depending on the schedule that day. A cracked tooth, sudden pain, a lost crown or swelling all count as emergencies. Call us as early in the day as you can and we will find you a slot.
