Treatment of TMJ Near Las Olas Florida
TMJ Dentist Serving Residents of Las Olas

Waking with a headache, a jaw that clicks, tenderness at the joint, teeth you know you grind at night. These are the complaints Las Olas patients bring us, and the short distance matters because TMJ is managed over time rather than fixed in one visit.
The temporomandibular joints connect your lower jaw to your skull and work continuously. When the joints or the surrounding muscles are strained, it presents as jaw pain, clicking or popping, headaches, facial discomfort, difficulty opening fully, and grinding or clenching.
Evaluation covers your teeth, your bite, how the jaw moves and what you are actually experiencing. A custom night guard is often recommended, protecting the teeth from grinding while reducing load on the joint, which means an assessment, a fitting, and adjustment if it does not sit correctly.
For selected patients Botox into the overactive muscles is considered alongside. What we are after is the cause, not just quiet.

What Is Biomimetic Dentistry?
At Denteast, we believe that the best dentistry often means preserving what nature has already created. That’s the foundation of biomimetic dentistry—a modern, science-based approach that focuses on conserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible while restoring strength, function, and aesthetics.
The word biomimetic means “to imitate nature.” Rather than removing large portions of a tooth to fit a restoration, biomimetic dentistry aims to repair damaged teeth in a way that closely replicates their original structure, flexibility, and performance. Every tooth is unique, and our goal is to help it function as naturally as possible for years to come.
This approach shapes every treatment we provide, from a single filling to a full restoration. Read how biomimetic dentistry works and why it matters for your teeth.

Dental Services for Las Olas Residents

Jaw pain, tension, headaches, or persistent teeth grinding can affect more than your smile—they can interfere with sleep, eating, speaking, and everyday comfort. At Denteast in Fort Lauderdale, we take a personalized approach to evaluating and managing TMJ-related concerns.
The temporomandibular joints (TMJ) connect your lower jaw to your skull and play an essential role in everyday jaw movement. When these joints or surrounding muscles become strained, symptoms may include jaw pain or tenderness, clicking or popping, headaches, facial discomfort, difficulty opening or closing the mouth, and teeth grinding or clenching.
Treatment begins with an evaluation of your teeth, bite, jaw movement, symptoms, and individual needs. Depending on the findings, Denteast may recommend a custom-made night guard to help protect your teeth from the effects of grinding and clenching while reducing stress on the jaw. TMJ Treatment & Night Guards at Denteast
For selected patients, additional treatment options may be considered based on the source and severity of their symptoms.
At Denteast, our goal is not simply to manage discomfort, but to understand what may be contributing to it and develop a thoughtful treatment plan around you. For patients from Las Olas, regular dental visits, often around every six months, can help maintain healthy teeth and gums and identify potential concerns before they become more serious.

About Las Olas
Las Olas is one of Fort Lauderdale’s best-known districts, offering a lively mix of waterfront residences, restaurants, boutiques, galleries, offices, and cultural destinations extending from Downtown toward the beach.
Denteast’s Downtown Fort Lauderdale location is only minutes from the Las Olas area, providing residents and professionals with convenient access to personalized dental care.
Las Olas is the spine of Downtown Fort Lauderdale — a boulevard running from the New River east to the beach, lined with restaurants, galleries and shops, and flanked by the residential Isles on its southern side. The Isles themselves, along with Seven Isles, Nurmi Isles and Idlewyld, are among the most sought-after addresses in the city, most with direct water access to the Intracoastal. At the western end the district shades into the downtown core, where towers like 100 Las Olas, Las Olas River House and Icon Las Olas hold thousands of residents within a few blocks of each other. The Riverwalk follows the New River past the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the Museum of Discovery and Science and the Historic Stranahan House. Nearly everything here is within walking distance of everything else.

Questions from Las Olas patients
Is Denteast located in Las Olas?

Denteast is located in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, not in Las Olas itself, and patients from Las Olas drive over regularly. The practice sits at 540 N Andrews Ave, Suite 101, with garage parking in the building. Call us and we will tell you the quickest way in from your side of town.
Is parking available?

Garage parking is available at the building and the first hour is free with our validation code. Street parking on the surrounding blocks is another option. Ask for the code at the front desk when you arrive.
Does Denteast accept dental insurance?

Denteast accepts most PPO dental plans. Our front desk checks your specific plan before treatment and explains what it covers, so there are no surprises when the bill arrives. Call us and we will look your plan up while you are on the phone.
What if I do not have dental insurance?

Denteast offers financing through Cherry, CareCredit and LendingClub, so treatment can be spread over monthly payments. Many of our patients have no dental insurance at all. Call us and we will walk you through the options before you commit to anything.
Do you see patients on Saturdays?

Denteast is closed on Saturdays. In some cases, for example to continue a treatment that started on Friday, the team can arrange a Saturday visit by appointment. Call the office Monday to Friday to book.
Can I be seen the same day in an emergency?

Same-day emergency appointments are usually possible, depending on the schedule that day. A cracked tooth, sudden pain, a lost crown or swelling all count as emergencies. Call us as early in the day as you can and we will find you a slot.
Can I walk to Denteast from Las Olas?

Denteast is at 540 N Andrews Ave, a few blocks from Las Olas Boulevard, and many patients from the downtown towers walk or ride over. Garage parking is available if you prefer to drive, free for the first hour with our code. Call us and we will give you the code.
Do you see patients from the downtown residential buildings?

A large share of our patients live in the towers within a few minutes of the office — 100 Las Olas, Las Olas River House, Icon, Amaray, Waverly and the Symphony among them. Being close means small problems get looked at early. Call us and we will fit you in.
